Kofta
Masala -- Curry Meatballs
2lb ground beef
1 egg
1 jar Garam Masala Curry
Fresh coriander for garnish
In a glass bowl,
add the ground beef, beaten egg, salt and pepper and 1 tbsp of Garam
Masala Curry. Make round meatballs by rolling them in the palm of
your hands and set aside on a plate. Do not over knead the meat
as it will make the meatballs tough. In a saucepan, pour rest of
the Garam Masala Curry and warm for a minute or two. Add the meatballs
and continue cooking. Add a little water if the sauce thickens.
Turn the meatballs over in about 4 minutes, until they are coated
with sauce. Add a little more water if necessary. Cover and continue cooking for another 10-12 minutes
or until meatballs are done. Garnish and serve.
