Channa
Masala -- Curried Chick Peas
Makes about
6 servings in about 5 minutes
1 jar Garam
Masala Curry( all or partial )
3 cans (16
oz) chick peas
Chopped coriander
and tomato wedges for garnish (optional)
In a saucepan,
pour contents of Garam Masala Curry( if you like it hot pour all).
Drain the liquid from the canned chickpeas and rinse. Add chickpeas
to the curry. Heat on medium heat until it comes to a boil. Reduce
heat to low and continue to simmer for an additional 3 minutes while
stirring occasionally. Taste, if it is too spicy for you, add a
little milk, or sour cream while stirring and simmer for another
minute or two. Garnish with tomato wedges and coriander. Enjoy with
rice or bread.
